It depends on what category you have. Take a look at your visa in your passport on the line that says TYPE OF VISA. If it says D or DC, then yes, you can work in Germany. If it says anything else (for example C), then NO, you are not allowed to work in Germany. See here for a list of Schengen visa categories Schengen visa categories and what they mean.

I live in Iran and want to go to Germany.

Ill get a Schengen visa in a week but from the Holland embassy.
So thats my question =
Can I fly at first to Germany with my Schengen from Holland?

I want to stay in Germany in the future.
I would be very pleased if somebody can help me out

Once you have the visa in your hand, you can enter the Schengen zone through any port of entry. If your visa is from the Holland embassy, you should spend the most time out of your trip in Holland. Note, check the type of your visa to make sure you have multiple entry visa. Single entry visa would allow you to enter the schengen zone only once.

Hello, I'm sorry for posting on an old topic but it seemed to me it's better than creating a new one that is similar.

I just wanted to know whether anything changed until now when it comes to working in Germany with a Schengen visa?

Also, I picked this health insurance plan to insure me while I stay in Germany:

It seems reasonable compared to other companies but can anyone give me some more information on this.
