Just thinking about something...

When you go to your online banking website, most people just type their password into the form on the entry page. I was thinking that perhaps having the password anonymously stored somewhere in the computer and just pasting it into the website (as opposed to typing it into the website) would be a good trick agains key loggers.

What do you think about it, would it be a good approach?

I'd say it is a good approach, just make sure you have the password in some form and shape that noone discovers, and even if someone discovers it, so that he is unable to match it to your any account.

Note, some websites have a similar security feature. Instead of typing your password in, the website shows you an alpha-numeric keyboard which from which you click individual keys to "click in" your password. This is a nice feature to avoid your pwd being stolen by key loggers.
