So my husband (US citizen )- at the time boyfriend overstayed Shengen visa by over 8 months, we left the Shengen via Spain where officer didnt notice the overstay and stamped passport as normal for leaving Shengen. We had been away since February 2018, we got married this October and traveling back to Austria this November to register marriage and ask for temporary residence. ( I am shengen national ) Are we going to have any trouble crossing the border or with temporary residence because of the previous overstay ?? Thank you
