I am a Graduate student at Uni. I entered the EU (Schengen) 06 July 2017 and left 05 Dec 2017 (that's like 150+ days on a 90 day Visa) I didn't get stopped at the border, no fines etc. Right now I am in Albania waiting out the 90/180 If I want to have 30 days in Schengen, I guess I have to wait until 06 April 2018? Or do I have to suck it up and wait until June to go back? I'll be applying for a residence permit when I am there (Vienna). Thanks in advance! P.S. The reason I was there so long was that I tried to apply for a res but my paperwork from the US was super late in arriving so I overstayed. Had you been stopped, most likely you would have to pay fine. If you return to the Schengen zone on March 06, 2018, you will be entitled to a new period of stay until June 03, 2018. |
